On behalf of our multi-national client, we are seeking a Treasury Specialist - Back Office.

The main duties of the Treasury Specialist - Back Office are:

  • Treasury operations: Ensure the seamless management of Treasury bank activities, from payment processing to deal confirmation and query resolution

  • Bank relationship management: Take charge of new bank onboarding, account openings, and maintenance of mandate documents for bank account signatories

  • KYC compliance: Rigorously fulfil KYC requirements with relationship banks, maintaining impeccable standards of due diligence

  • Documentation integrity: Keep all intercompany loan documentation current and ensure the integrity of data within the Treasury management system

  • Financial reporting: Guarantee the timely and accurate accounting and reporting of Treasury transactions, with a special focus on month-end closing activities

  • FX and interest calculations: Oversee the computation of foreign exchange and interest rate gains and losses, ensuring every figure is scrutinised and precise

The skills the Treasury Specialist - Back Office requires are:

  • Educational foundation: A bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field lays the groundwork for your role

  • Treasury experience: Solid experience in an international corporate Treasury back office demonstrates your readiness for this challenge

  • Product and process knowledge: A clear understanding of Treasury products and processes, especially in cash and debt management, prepares you for complex financial undertakings

  • Treasury Accounting: Your grasp of Treasury Accounting aspects will be key in maintaining financial integrity

  • Technical proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with Coupa Treasury TMS (or similar systems) arm you with the necessary tools to succeed

  • Independent and analytical: Your ability to work alone, coupled with strong analytical skills, allows you to thrive even under pressure
