Finance Manager - Carbon Capture

150,000-180,000 CHF + bonus + benefits
 

Job Description

Are you ready to make a significant impact on the future of our planet? We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance Manager with expertise in carbon data to join our client’s organization in a newly created role.

As the Finance Manager - Carbon Capture, you will be a pivotal figure, bridging the gap between Sustainability and Finance, and contributing to the company’s commitment to combat climate change.

Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager:

  • Track and report carbon data to demonstrate compliance with climate commitments
  • Ensure the company meets external reporting requirements and remains compliant with climate regulations and appropriate taxes
  • Develop and implement a commercial strategy that aligns financial objectives with sustainability goals
  • Utilize your extensive accounting background and relevant qualification to manage financial aspects related to carbon initiatives
  • Demonstrate expertise in carbon accounting and possess a solid understanding of ESG principles

Requirements:

  • Approximately 15 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting, with a recent focus on sustainability and carbon data management
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across departments
  • Comprehensive systems knowledge, especially with SAP, to facilitate accurate data management and reporting
  • A successful track record of developing and implementing commercial strategies with a financial perspective
