Job Description

We are recruiting a Senior Financial Controller for a dynamic and growing company headquartered in Zug.

Position overview:

As a Senior Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in our client's financial management and decision-making processes.

You will lead both the Accounting and Controlling teams, leveraging your Accounting expertise to maintain and enhance its financial processes.

Your strategic financial analysis will directly influence our client's direction, and you will oversee various financial aspects, including payroll, budgets, tax, and accounts.

In addition, you will serve as a vital business partner to the corporate functions, providing valuable financial insights.

Key responsibilities of the Senior Financial Controller:
  • Oversee and manage both the Accounting and Controlling teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment
  • Continuously improve Accounting and Controlling processes, implementing best practices and automation where applicable
  • Provide critical financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision making
  • Take responsibility for payroll, budgeting, tax compliance, and account management
  • Act as a trusted business partner to corporate functions, offering financial guidance and support
  • Utilise your confidence as an ERP user to maximise system capabilities and efficiency
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or a similar role in a multi-national environment
  • Strong background in Accounting and Finance, with a deep understanding of financial principles
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and the ability to embrace automation for process improvement
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
