Accountant Team Leader

Job Description

We are working with a rapidly growing international investment company based in Zug, seeking an exceptional Accounting Team Leader to join its pioneering department.

As an Accounting Team Leader, you will play a vital role in overseeing and managing a team of four Accountants.

Your primary responsibility is to ensure the accurate and efficient execution of Accounting tasks and financial processes, and provide guidance, support, and leadership to your team to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Key responsibilities of the Accountant Team Leader:
  • Supervise, mentor and lead a team of Accounting professionals
  • Oversee day-to-day Accounting activities
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions
  • Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, reports, and summaries
  • Review and approve financial reports for accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure compliance with Accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
  • Stay updated on changes in Accounting regulations and implement necessary adjustments
  • Address and resolve Accounting-related issues, discrepancies, and inquiries
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 7 years of Accounting experience
  • Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Proficiency in German is required.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and Swiss GAAP
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and social skills
  • Proficiency in Accounting software and financial systems (Navision a plus)
