We are seeking a talented European Art Director to join a dynamic team and help them visually communicate their brand and product messages across its diverse European markets.
As the European Art Director, you will be responsible for leading the visual art direction of their brand across multiple European markets.
You will play a pivotal role in creating and overseeing the visual identity of their products, ensuring consistency and high-quality design.
This role will require a strong focus on visual art and will also involve video production for various marketing campaigns.
Key responsibilities as the European Art Director:
- Brand Visual Identity: develop and maintain a consistent visual identity for the brand, ensuring that it aligns with their values and resonates with their target audiences in various European markets
- Creative Strategy: collaborate with the marketing and design teams to develop creative strategies that effectively convey their brand messages through visual art, including packaging design, advertisements, and digital content
- Art Direction: lead a team of designers and other creative professionals to produce visually stunning and impactful assets, from print materials to digital graphics
- Video Production: oversee and participate in video production for marketing campaigns
- Market Research: stay up-to-date with design trends and consumer preferences in the European market, incorporating insights into the visual strategy
- Collaboration: collaborate closely with international teams to ensure consistency in brand messaging and design elements across different markets
- Quality Assurance: ensure the highest quality standards in all visual assets produced, maintaining a keen eye for detail and precision
- Team Development: mentor and train team members, fostering a creative and productive work environment
- Bachelor's degree in Art, Graphic Design, or a related field; master's degree is a plus
- Proven experience in Graphic Design, ideally within the FMCG industry
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design work and video projects
- Proficiency in design software
- In-depth knowledge of design principles, typography, and color theory
- A creative and innovative mindset with a strong focus on visual aesthetics
