Group Leader Accounting

EMEA Recruitment is thrilled to be working with an international B2C business in Zurich that is looking for a German-speaking Group Leader of Accounting to head up the Accounting team.

Reporting directly to the Head of Group Finance, you will be responsible for leading an Accounts team of eight, along with day-to-day Accounting duties, including monthly closing and reporting.

This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a team within an international business.

Duties of the Group Leader of Accounting will include:

• Team management: Managing a team of 8 Accounts professionals, being the point of contact for the group on all Accounting queries
• Responsibility for month-end transactions
• Monthly financial reporting to management/board of directors, including reporting quarterly and annually to the international arm of the group
• Preparation of annual accounts according to Swiss law
• Supporting Controlling in the budget and forecasting process

Fluent German is a requirement for this role.

We are looking for Senior Accountants with strong team management ability, who are confident leading a team of Accounting professionals. IFRS experience required.
