Category Manager - Logistics

Job Description

My client, a large and global business in the FMCG sector, seeks a Category Manager - Logistics. 

As a Category Manager of Logistics, you will be responsible for supporting the procurement of road & ocean transportation globally for a large FMCG business.

My client is offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced logistics buyer to expand their horizons in a truly global role, strategically managing e2e logistics contracts.
 
The successful candidate will have a passion for Logistics/Supply Chain and experience within strategic procurement at a regional or global level.


We are looking for high-calibre candidates with the following skills & experience:

• Ideally, 5+ years' experience within Procurement or operational logistics

• Confident in sourcing, negotiating, and managing logistics contracts

• It is essential that you have sourced road freight solutions previously

• Fluent English is essential - other languages are beneficial
