EMEA Recruitment is working with our international client in its search for an Accounting Assistant to join their offices in Feltham, London.  

In this role, you are responsible for a 360 view of the financial activities of the country, starting with Accounting and expanding to all fields of Finance.

The successful candidate will manage the credit process, supervise transaction processes, have full responsibility for AP/AR, and support the Finance Manager on ad-hoc financial requests.

The Accounting Assistant will act as the single point of contact for communication with the headquartered Finance team to resolve any transactional issues or reconciliation gaps and act as a business partner to the operations management team.

Your responsibilities as the Accounting Assistant:
  • Responsible for complete and accurate statements on Aging Accounts receivable
  • Responsible for complete and accurate financial statements (P&L and Balance Sheet)
  • Post the entries into the GL
  • Monitor the bank accounts
  • Prepare cash flow for funding requests
  • Verify and enter the vendor invoices into the operational system
Experience required:
  • 4+ years of work experience in Accounting
  • Degree in Accounting or ACCA part-qualified
  • Advanced Excel skills are required
  • Willing and capable of taking initiative, problem-solving and a \"can-do\" attitude
  • Fluent English
