Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is proud to be working with a global food business in the search for a Senior Accountant to handle and optimise accounting processes on a global scale.

Working in a dynamic and rapidly expanding business, this is a unique opportunity for an accounting professional to step into a more senior position with greater responsibility. This position will suit someone who is proactive, self-driven and has good social skills, along with a strong technical mindset.
 
Hybrid working is available for this position.
 
The main duties of the Senior Accountant are: 
  • Management of US Accounting, AP, AR and Financial Administration duties
  • Conducting monthly reporting / closing duties
  • Proactively working on process improvement projects
  • Acting as a key finance partner for non-finance stakeholders
  • Monitoring junior accountants' work provide coaching on an ad-hoc basis

The skills required for the Senior Accountant: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field, with 5 years’ relevant experience across industry/the big four
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Strong US GAAP and IFRS knowledge
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel 
  • Fluent in English and ideally Dutch
