Job Description

Our Warsaw team is on the lookout for a Financial Controller who can kill bills like Uma. In your role, you will be responsible for overseeing accounts and finances. Here’s a dive into your new MassiveMusic role:

You will supervise finances of local and foreign companies, have day-to-day contact with local finance staff and external accounting offices (in English), and school business managers with your finance knowledge. You will be in charge of making sure the finances travel safely to the right accounts, providing necessary information while keeping the systems on their best game. Overseeing and executing the accounts receivable and credit risk management process will be like a walk in the park for you. You will control and forecast cash flow and payment management, and regularly prepare financial data of subsidiaries to be consolidated for reporting and management purposes along with reviewing financial analyses, reports and forecasts (hopefully it’s going to rain). Finally, you will be cooperating with the central team, local MD and business departments as well as filing local tax in Poland.

You’re a supernova of energy and passion. You have enthusiasm for music and enjoy collaboration with like-minded and self-motivated people. People enjoy working with you because you bring fresh ideas to the table and always have a proactive solution to any challenge.

Skills and Requirements
  • University-level education
  • Medior/senior experience in finance, controlling or auditing
  • Accounting is your second language
  • Office/G Suite/Google workplace proficiency
  • You excel in Excel and spreadsheets
  • Excellent knowledge of financial reporting principles
  • Excellent knowledge of English, German is a bonus
  • Familiarity with IFRS
  • Your analytical, planning and organisational skills are next level
  • Working knowledge of tax law? Not necessary but if so, tell us more (we’re all ears)
  • NetSuite experience as well? Ok, we’re hyperventilating
  • You are social and helpful not only to your colleagues but to everyone who comes our way
  • You challenge yourself and the team to set the bar a little higher each time
  • You like to be present at our Massive events and other industry related events and get-togethers

Full time. What do you get in return on top of our financial package? Inspiration, knowledge and career development. You’ll also be working with an international bunch of remarkable musically-infused individuals.
