Consolidation and System Administration Specialist

120-130k CHF + bonus
 

Job Description

Our client, an international company in the financial services sector, is looking to hire a Consolidation Specialist with System Administration expertise to join their Group Reporting & Consolidation Team located in Zug.

You will be responsible for overseeing the group consolidation process, ensuring accuracy, compliance with IFRS, and optimal utilization of SAP consolidation tools.

Key responsibilities of the Consolidation and System Administration Specialist will include:
 
  • Oversee the consolidation process, including intercompany eliminations
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS
  • Optimize the SAP system to support efficient consolidation processes
  • Stay updated on changes in IFRS accounting standards and ensure compliance in the consolidation process
  • Collaborate with the Finance and IT teams to ensure the accurate and timely integration of financial data
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in the consolidation and reporting process
  • Implement best practices and enhancements to streamline consolidation activities
  • Liaise with auditors
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Experience in working in an in-house consolidation team
  • Affinity for IT, particularly in the context of financial consolidation tools
  • Understanding of IFRS accounting standards
  • Experience in financial reporting and analysis
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of SAP or other consolidation systems
  • Fluency in English
