As a US GAAP Implementation Specialist based in Zug, you will play a crucial role in converting past financial data into actionable insights.
Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the implementation process, ensuring that all numbers are accurately inputted into our systems.
This role involves a high level of hands-on work, collaborating closely with our Shared Services Center (SSC) under the oversight of the Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of US GAAP standards into our financial systems
- Collaborate with the SSC team to ensure accurate and timely data entry
- Conduct monthly closings, ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards
- Oversee the conversion of past financial data into our systems.
- Provide hands-on support in putting new sets of numbers into accounts
- Work closely with the Group to ensure alignment with organizational goals and standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience in new Accounting standards implementation (ideally US GAAP), with a strong understanding of financial principles
- Hands-on experience in converting and inputting financial data, preferably within a Shared Services environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and timelines
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
