Job Description

In collaboration with our client based in Zug, we are seeking a Carbon Credit Development Manager to join their growing Sustainable Development team.

This is an exciting new role for someone who is passionate about sustainability and is driven to develop the Carbon Removal and Credit generation processes within the business.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Develop Carbon removal solutions and negotiate Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) purchasing agreements
  • Identify and execute strategic CDR solution sales to existing and new clients
  • Create, define and execute go-to-market strategies in relation to CDR and Carbon Credit Generation
  • Source high-quality carbon removal credits through process management and internal CDR demand management
  • Cover scenario assessment planning in the decision-making process for the utilization of captured CO2
  • Develop coordinated approaches in carbon dioxide removal projects and to maximize commercial growth in this area

For this role of Carbon Credit Development Manager, we are looking for candidates who meet the following:
  • 5+ years in commercial or business development environment ideally in the area of Carbon Credits, CDR or Voluntary Carbon Market
  • Prior experience and the ability to display a business-orientated approach with a track record in generating Carbon Credits and associated business cases
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent negotiation skills in securing favourable purchasing agreements
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to design and deliver presentations to senior management and external audiences
  • Fluent in English, any other language is a plus
