EMEA Recruitment has partnered with an innovative global FMCG business, seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to drive efficiency and accuracy across Supply Chain Planning functions.The Supply Chain Specialist will work on growing projects and objectives in line with the company's wider goals. This will enable the candidate to broaden their capabilities and gain extra exposure within projects across the end-to-end supply chain to deliver the business strategy.
This role is based in Zug, Switzerland with a requirement to be onsite 4 days a week.
Main responsibilities of the Supply Chain Specialist:
- Support planning finished foods and/or production item requirements
- Update KPIs and reports, and regularly communicate with stakeholders
- Creation of transportation orders and associated paperwork
- Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets to support the delivery of the planning cycle
- Placement of purchase orders for finished goods and/or production items
- Additional projects involving expansion into other regions such as the Asian market
The Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 3 years of experience within a relevant Supply Chain planning or production environment
- Willingness to be proactive in identifying problems and developing solutions
- Experience with NetSuite, SAP APO, Pega, Kinaxis, Machine learning or other sophisticated planning tools is a plus
