In collaboration with our client, we are searching for a Head of Sourcing Facilities Services to be based in Zurich.
As a Facilities expert, you will operate in a senior capacity managing related services and contracts to deliver cost reduction programs across a wide region whilst taking a consultative approach to provide solutions both internally and externally.
Your key responsibilities as the Head of Sourcing FM will include:
Manage and lead a team of Consultants and Buyers and develop them to provide best-in-class solutions within the Facility Management area
Operate in a consultative manner, specifically working with external customers and suppliers to understand their needs and adapt accordingly to varying requests and demands
Being a key stakeholder support in the sourcing lifecycle - including driving sourcing, RFI, RFP, evaluation, drafting, contracting, onboarding, negotiations, supplier management, etc.
Review, negotiation, and execution of contracts with vendors for Facility Management services contracts, both Hard and Soft Facilities related
Display strong Facility Management knowledge to be able to guide, advise and consultant with clients and ultimately solve their needs in the FM area
Display commercial awareness and business acumen to contribute to the growth of the business and the services provided
For this Head of Sourcing Facilities Services role, we are looking for high-calibre candidates with the following skill sets:
Bachelor's and/or master's degree in Economic Sciences or Industrial Engineering - a focus on Facility Management would be a plus
Ideally, 8+ years’ experience in managing/strategic procurement of Facility Management services, and expertise in the Swiss Facility Management market would be an advantage
A track record in operating within a Consultative or Account Management role
A proven leader, having previously led and developed multiple direct reports
Ability to utilize procurement and financial data to understand spending trends and to leverage information to identify procurement insights that result in process efficiencies and cost savings
Strong influencer who has the readiness to identify cost reduction opportunities
Fluent in both German and English
