Job Description

Project Manager - Automation & Digitalization
Location: Hamburg (preferred), Leipzig or Madrid
Salary: €70k-100k depending on experience

An exciting opportunity to join an international Manufacturing team, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to focus on automation & digitalization.  
The ideal candidate will have automation/electrical engineering background, experienced in strategic projects from concept to "Go Live"

Responsibilities of Project Manager:
  • Lead global projects in Automation, overseeing factory investments, new production technologies, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Drive end-to-end development and global implementation of automation systems & digital platforms for Filling & Packing in Manufacturing.
  • Own strategic supplier development, ensuring timely and quality delivery in your area.
  • Co-develop and implement the Manufacturing Digitalization Roadmap.
  • Support local automation & digitalization teams during projects.
  • Drive standardization in our Manufacturing network.
Profile:
  • Master’s degree in engineering (automation/electrical engineering, mechatronics, technical computer science, industrial engineering, or similar).
  • Expertise in FMCG production environment automation & digitalization (filling & packing or/and robotics is a plus).
  • Several years of practical experience in industrial environments, automation & systems, process control systems, MES, IIoT, or project management.
  • Strategic thinking with an entrepreneurial mindset, result-oriented, and performance-focused.
  • English business fluent; German proficiency is a plus.
