Responsibilities of the Senior Internal Auditor:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive internal audit plans for some of the regulated entities
  • Conduct operational audits to identify and assess risks and controls and lead audit teams in the performance of audits within the regulated entities, entailing: defining audit scope and objectives, developing, and executing test plans, documenting results and effectively communicating findings to management and relevant stakeholders verbally and in writing
  • Set up, prepare, and discuss various reporting for the applicable Supervisory Bodies
  • Develop and maintain outstanding relationships with our auditees, relevant stakeholders and regulators through open and frequent communication
  • Ensure compliance with the Internal Audit Framework
  • Have a continuous improvement mindset and identify improvements in audit ways of working, procedures and methodology
Your profile:
  • Experience in a similar role and good overall business knowledge in the Dutch market
  • Professional qualification in Audit or Accounting
  • Experience in External/Internal Audit, and risk management within asset & private wealth management

We\'re Looking For: A driven and experienced Financial Controller to join this dynamic team. This site-based position offers a unique opportunity to shape the financial trajectory of this production site, with approximately 150 employees and a €30M turnover.

Your Role: Reporting to the Site Director, you will oversee a team of 2 management accountants, taking charge of financial and internal control. Your insights will be pivotal to the Management Committee, contributing to the site\'s financial performance and strategic planning.

As the Financial Controller, your key responsibilities include::

  • Prepare and validate monthly and quarterly financial reports
  • Analyse financial performance, identifying trends and variances
  • Coordinate monthly forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities
  • Present financial performance to sales teams and senior management
  • Lead projects to optimise company management, including budgeting and cost control
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial integrity

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor\'s or master\'s in Finance or related field; professional Finance qualifications would be preferred
  • 4-6 years of management financial controlling experience, preferably in the industrial sector
  • Proficient in Excel and SAP
  • Fluent in English and French, with excellent analytical and communication skills
