An established and growing group in the international luxury hospitality and real estate sector is looking for a Regional Tax Compliance Controller to join its small European office in central Amsterdam.

This newly created role will be key to ensuring tax compliance and smooth financial operations across several European jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities of the Regional Tax Compliance Controller:

  • Oversee EU tax administration (VAT, WHT, CIT) and support group tax matters
  • Manage accounting and tax service providers across multiple European countries
  • Coordinate the tax and accounting compliance calendar to meet filing deadlines
  • Assist with budgets, forecasts, and cash flow planning.
  • Support the preparation of local financial statements for holding and financing entities
  • Liaise with external advisors for tax filings and audits

Requirements & Skills:

Your Responsibilities of the Division Controller:

The hands-on Accountant will play a key role in the business to help set up a joint venture in France and Belgium. This role will also require some travel (10%).

My client is looking for a hands-on, German-speaking Senior Accountant with strong Swiss GAAP, VAT, and tax reporting experience. This is a key finance role in a dynamic, Swiss-based SME with an international outlook and a start-up feel.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant: 

  • Lead month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
  • Manage Swiss VAT, tax filings, and year-end audit prep
  • Oversee inventory accounting, margins, rebates, and customer/supplier refunds
  • Support contract accounting and ensure accurate multi-year postings

Experience:

  • 5+ years’ Swiss accounting experience
  • Fluent German speaker (Swiss German a big plus)
  • Strong VAT knowledge and monthly close exposure
