In this role, you will have primary responsibility and accountability for accounting aspects and assist the head office with regional issues in the periodical closing and reporting process.

The Global Accounting Manager will support the preparation of accurate and timely periodical financial reporting and drive the statutory compliance of European entities.

The successful candidate will be a collaborative team member, work cross-functionally, communicate effectively, and have a proactive approach with an analytical mind.


Responsibilities:

  • Build extensive accounting and consolidation reporting knowledge  of the entities in the  European region
  • Assist the internal tax team with regard to VAT, CIT and Transfer Pricing matters
  • Provide subject matter expertise in the region relating to accounting issues and IFRS guidance like revenue recognition, leasing, financial instruments and business combinations
  • Coordinate with auditors  on their audit approach and requested documentation
  • Assist with the development of policies (from an accounting perspective) as needed by the business to support growth, business change

Experience required:
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in an international audit role
  • University degree in Accounting/Economics and qualified Accountant
  • Higher education - preferably Economics, Finance or related
  • Strong understanding of Accounting and IFRS
  • Strong project management and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Willing to travel (mainly in Europe)
  • Fluent English

As a Consolidation and Reporting Specialist, your role will include:

  • Timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closings and consolidations under US GAAP
  • Preparing the Group’s financial statements for both internal and external purposes, including detailed financial reports
  • Manage and support external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Guide local entities and maintain financial reporting and information systems
  • Collaborate closely with headquarters accounting

Skills Required:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional Accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred
