EMEA Recruitment is working with a global client to find an experienced Dutch-speaking Procurement Manager to oversee the procurement activities in the Amsterdam region, on a hybrid working model.
As the Procurement Manager, you will manage key supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive the strategic procurement agenda. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, goods, and services, ensuring the company receives the best possible value.
Your focus will be on optimizing procurement processes, contributing to cost savings, and ensuring a sustainable supply chain. Additionally, you\'ll be involved in early supplier involvement, contract management, and drafting of EPC contracts.
Responsibilities of the Procurement Manager
Strategic Sourcing:
Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for assigned categories, ensuring alignment with business goals
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, service, and sustainability criteria
Drive supplier development initiatives, fostering long-term partnerships and improving overall supplier performance
Contract Negotiation and Management:
Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms
Draft, review, and manage contracts to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
Supplier Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring continuous collaboration and communication
Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and develop improvement plans where necessary
