EMEA Recruitment is supporting an international life sciences company in the search for a Revenue Accounting Manager to join their high-performing finance team in Amsterdam.

Role Overview:
As Revenue Accounting Manager, you’ll take the lead on Ex-US revenue recognition and international revenue reporting, working closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders across Finance, Commercial, and Market Access functions.

Key Responsibilities of the Revenue Accounting Manager:
  • Ensure accurate and timely revenue accounting under US GAAP (ASC 606) across 20+ countries
  • Manage Gross-to-Net (GTN) accruals aligned to local pricing and rebate agreements
  • Lead SOX controls and audit support for key revenue processes
  • Liaise with Commercial and FP&A teams to ensure cross-functional alignment
  • Record journal entries and reconcile revenue-related balance sheet accounts
  • Validate data accuracy with 3PL partners and ensure proper SAP integration
  • Support financial reporting using SAP, Blackline, and AuditBoard

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (master’s preferred); CPA or equivalent highly desirable
  • 7+ years of experience, ideally a mix of Big 4 and industry within multinational environments
  • In-depth understanding of US GAAP (ASC 606) and GTN accounting
  • SAP and Excel proficiency essential
  • Strong communicator with a collaborative, detail-oriented approach
  • Fluent in English
