Your key responsibilities as the Audit Manager - IT:

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Several years of Audit experience in IT
  • Commodities experience
  • Accounting or Audit certification
  • Willingness to travel - 30%

  • Head of Accounting

    EMEA Recruitment is working with a commodities company based in Zug, Switzerland, with multiple entities operating in various international markets.

    We seek an experienced and detail-oriented Head of Accounting to join their team.

    In this role, you will oversee the accounting operations for the company and its entities, and contribute to the selection and implementation of a new ERP system, and accounting in IFRS.

    Responsibilities of the Head of Accounting include:

    • Accounting Oversight: Manage and oversee the accounting operations for the company and its entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
    • ERP Implementation: Play a key role in the selection and implementation of a new ERP system for the company, with a focus on accounting and finance modules. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition.
    • Audit Coordination and Compliance: Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and other financial reviews. Ensure all documentation and processes are audit-ready. Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant accounting and financial regulations, both domestic and international.
    • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations. 

    The ideal candidate will possess:
    • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; A master\'s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred
    • Extensive experience in accounting management, preferably within the metals trading or commodities industry
    • Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience with the conversion from Swiss GAAP to IFRS
    • Experience with ERP systems selection and implementation, preferably with a focus on accounting and finance modules
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
    • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
    • Proven ability to lead and develop an Accounting team
    • Fluent in English; proficiency in German or other languages is a plus
