EMEA Recruitment is working with an international business in its search for a Senior Strategic Purchasing Controller. You'll be based at our client's global HQ in the Noord Brabant region.As Senior Strategic Purchasing Controller, you will be a strategic business partner for strategic purchasing, driving change and strategic projects within the organisation.
This is a new role for the business, joining a team of 10, with the scope to make the role your own.
Responsibilities of Senior Strategic Purchasing Controller:
- Serving as the backbone for the sourcing department
- Make a global-level impact on purchasing financial performance and change management
- Tracking P&L cost movements
- Chief PMO for strategic projects
- Support decision-making by utilising data to drive results
- Compliance of P2P financial accounting
Experience/qualifications required:
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience within consulting or business controlling (ideally, Supply Chain)
- A university degree
- Fluent English, both spoken and written; Dutch would also be advantageous
- Procurement or purchasing background
- Good understanding of basic financial reporting
- Decisive mindset and result-oriented attitude
