Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is working with an international business in its search for a HR Portfolio Manager. You'll be based at our client's global HQ in the Noord Brabant region.

This is a newly created role based in the newly established Center of Excellence for HR Strategy & Transformation.

The HR Portfolio Manager will be responsible for collecting, tracking and supporting the initiation and steering of HR projects to make the HR organisation more effective and impactful in the future.

Responsibilities of HR Portfolio Manager:
  • Collect and maintain the portfolio of projects and improvement initiatives within the HR organisation
  • Track progress, impact and value of all initiatives from initiation until closure
  • Review initiatives at the start of the project to ensure they are set up for success, including the correct staffing, resources, and budget
  • Set up business cases and project charters for initiatives
  • Facilitate stage gate controls for projects in order to start, stop, slow down and accelerate initiatives 
  • Support change management activities in the project portfolio 
  • Motivate business leaders and the wider HR community to adopt change initiatives
Experience/qualifications required:
  • Educated to a master’s degree level

  • Ideally a qualification in portfolio or project management

  • Significant experience in HR project portfolio management or program management from at top tier consulting or inhouse consulting department

  • Strong interest in business transformation and change

  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills

  • Experience with quality improvement & operational excellence preferably in a technical environment
