We are working exclusively with our client in their search for two Tax Managers based in Zug.
Reporting to the Group Director of Tax, these new roles have been created to build the Tax function focusing on compliance, planning, and reporting to ensure adherence to tax laws and regulations while optimising tax efficiency.
Your responsibilities as the Tax Manager:
Manage tax compliance responsibilities, including overseeing tax declarations and meeting deadlines
Review tax returns and ensure all necessary information is provided to our external tax advisors
Act as a crucial interface between our accounting team and external advisors
Completion of in-house tax returns
Candidate Requirements:
4-8 years of relevant experience in tax compliance and preparation of tax returns
Ability to sign off on tax returns prepared by external consultants
Experience in German taxation is a must (Certified German Tax Advisor, Steuerberater, or relevant experience working with German tax regulations)
Process improvement experience
