Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is working with an international technology business as they look to recruit a HR Director for their French business based near Nanterre.

The role works as part of a HR team of three and provides HR support to a headcount of approximately 75 people.

The HR Director role requires someone who can work with senior leaders to develop the HR strategy as well as being hands-on and working in a tactical manner.

Responsibilities of HR Director:
  • Implement and monitor HR policies in line with company goals
  • Manage recruitment process including effective onboarding
  • Define and implement employee development programs
  • Manage union relationships and negotiations
  • Ensure smooth running of annual review process
  • Manage HR and Payroll budget alongside Finance
  • Support managers to effectively handle their people-related issues
  • Work on a range of HR projects

Experience required:
  • Higher education level BAC + 5 in a related subject
  • 8+ years of HR experience gained in an international environment
  • Able to switch between strategic, tactical and operational tasks
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise effectively
  • Good knowledge of French labor law
  • Fluent in French and English
