• 2-3 years\' experience in Accounting
• Basic understanding of Dutch GAAP and IFRS

• Take ownership of demand forecasting by working closely with commercial and financial stakeholders at both global and local levels
• Design and refine short-, mid-, and long-term supply plans to support business objectives
• Monitor and control stock levels to strike the right balance between availability and efficiency
• Review forecast accuracy metrics regularly, identify discrepancies, and take corrective steps as needed
• Track and report on planning KPIs, including forecast accuracy, bias, stock coverage, and OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery
• Propose and implement enhancements in forecasting tools and methodologies to improve planning performance

• Minimum of 4-5 years in a comparable planning role, ideally in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or cosmetics sectors
• Skilled in using enterprise planning systems such as SAP or other advanced planning software
• Demonstrated strengths in data analysis, organizational planning, and proactive problem solving
• Fluent in both French and English

EMEA Recruitment is working with a multinational organization that is seeking a seasoned finance professional to ensure its Dutch entity meets all relevant European financial and regulatory requirements.

The role involves managing financial reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls while collaborating with teams across multiple regions, including the UK, Europe, and the US.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities for both internal and statutory reporting
• Ensure compliance with financial and tax regulations in the Netherlands, as well as in other EU countries such as Spain and France
• Prepare and submit VAT returns, EC Sales Lists, and Intrastat reports for the Dutch entity
• Liaise with external tax advisors on compliance matters, tax strategy, and filings
• Prepare financial statements for the Dutch entity and transition outsourced processes internally
• Assist with internal and external audits and help maintain robust internal control systems
• Provide financial analysis to support business decisions, including cost, variance, and profitability analysis

Skills & Experience Sought:

• 6-8 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Audit roles; a recognized accounting qualification is a plus
• Strong understanding of EU VAT rules and regulatory compliance
• In-depth knowledge of Dutch tax systems
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
• Fluent in English and Dutch (both written and verbal)
