Key Account Manager Germany -Exclusive

Job Description

We’re exclusively searching for a Key Account Manager on behalf of our client, a dynamic, innovative, global organization offering consumer products.

 

Due to high ambition and growth, the business is looking to appoint a Key Account Manager who will be responsible for grocery customers at a regional level in Germany.

 

The position can be performed from a home office anywhere in Germany and will require around 30% travel.

 

The key responsibilities of the Key Account Manager will include, but will not be limited to:

 

  • Act as a lead contact point for company grocery customers (national retail chains)
  • Modern trade channel strategy development and further execution
  • Independently negotiate and execute annual and promotional contracts
  • Development and achievement of sales goals for customers’ performance
  • Maximizing company profit by up-selling or cross-selling
  • Analyze client data to provide best-in-class customer relationship management
  • Create joint business plans for all current and potential customers
  • Measure, track and analyze key account metrics and KPIs

 

Requirements:

 

  • Master’s degree in Business or any other related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in managing national/regional accounts at regional head office level
  • Well-developed communication, networking and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation skills, with ability to follow through on client contracts
  • Highly self-motivated with excellent time and project management skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet critical deadlines
  • Problem-solving and negotiation aptitude
  • Fluency in German and English
