Our client is a US-listed international business operating within the dynamic TMT industry. With their continued transformation and cutting-edge technology solutions, they are driving change and innovation in their field.We are currently recruiting for a newly created External Reporting Senior Manager role to join their evolving Finance function working as part of a key team in this global business.
This is a unique opportunity for a qualified technical accounting profile with at least 6 years of experience either working in the Big 4 looking to transition into their first role in industry or already in industry, who has a hands-on approach to support external reporting activities.
Your duties as External Reporting Senior Manager will include although will not be limited to:
- Preparing financial statements under IFRS
- Supporting with the preparation of consolidated financial statements working under US GAAP
- Supporting SOX compliance including maintaining internal control documentation and updating new and existing controls as needed
- Assisting in ad-hoc activities relating to ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) reporting
- Stakeholder management working with finance colleagues and external auditors
- Identifying process improvement opportunities
- Supporting ad hoc activities and projects
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance and a recognised professional qualification RA, CA, ACCA, CPA (or equivalent)
- An audit background in the Big 4 would be preferred
- At least 6 years of relevant work experience
- Fluent in English
- Experience working under IFRS and US GAAP in a SOX/PCAOB environment
- A keen eye for detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organisation
- High level of honesty, integrity, commitment and responsibility
