Compliance Manager

Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is working with a well-established multinational consulting firm. We are searching for a Compliance Manager to join the Stockholm office, working on a hybrid basis.

The successful candidate will assume a vital role within the Nordic operations, actively contributing to the local Finance team's efforts to fortify the internal control framework and uphold finance compliance standards.

You will collaborate extensively across the Nordics to proactively address risks and implement effective practices.

Key responsibilities of the Compliance Manager:

• Conduct thorough assurance audits to evaluate the efficiency of current controls and processes
• Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, including local entities, management, and external auditors
• Propose actionable strategies for risk mitigation
• Independently oversee internal audit projects, consolidating findings, risks, and proposed actions
• Identify control deficiencies and provide recommendations for enhancements

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Experience within governance, risk management, and internal controls, with a focus on conducting assurance audits and proposing risk mitigation strategies
• 3+ years of external audit experience and an additional 3+ years in internal audit or IT consulting
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and data analytics tools
