Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is working with a well-established industrial manufacturing company in its search for a Senior Internal Auditor (IT/Data Analytics).

You will join the Stockholm office, working on a hybrid basis with international travel being required from time to time.

The successful candidate will be driving the evolution of the internal audit processes, aiming for excellence in digitalization and effectiveness in risk identification and internal control assessment.

Your mission will be to strengthen the internal control environment within the Group, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities of the Senior Internal Auditor (IT/Data Analytics):
  • Conduct comprehensive assurance audits to assess the effectiveness of existing controls and processes
  • Cultivate and sustain robust working relationships with stakeholders, including local entities, management, and external auditors
  • Recommend strategies for mitigating risks and enhancing internal controls
  • Independently oversee internal audit projects, consolidating findings, risks, and proposed strategies
  • Identify control deficiencies and provide actionable recommendations for enhancement
Your profile:
  • Hold a university degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Possess 2+ years of experience in auditing, with a focus on internal auditing and risk management
  • Familiarity with financial reporting principles such as IFRS and experience with the HFM reporting system is advantageous
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, and skilled in SAP and data analytics tools like Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau
