Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is exclusively working with a leading global manufacturer of high-quality sporting goods in its search for an AP AR Accountant to join their team in Uppsala, Sweden. 

The successful candidate will work closely with the local Finance Manager and be responsible for handling AP processes in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland, approving various financial transactions and managing new customer approvals.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic finance team, focusing on enhancing AP processes and supporting the introduction of new procurement and ERP projects. You'll have the opportunity to streamline operations and contribute to broader financial projects.

Key responsibilities of the AP AR Accountant:
  • Managing the ISP (invoice screening program) and approving non-standard order releases
  • Handling credit limit adjustments and other AR-related approvals
  • Approving new customer setups in Salesforce and handling payment approvals
  • Performing monthly GRANDE reporting, including cleaning up AP and manual registrations
  • Managing AP/Accounting tasks
  • Conducting consolidation analysis and supporting managerial communication

Your profile:
  • University degree in Finance or Accounting or similar
  • Experience within Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Understanding of financial reporting principles and experience with consolidation analysis
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (i.e. SAP) with advanced Excel skills
  • Fluent in English and Swedish
