EMEA Recruitment is working with an international manufacturing business in Aargau, in its search for a Financial Accountant.
Reporting to the Head of Accounting, this is a significant role within the accounting team that will allow you to liaise with international teams across the group.
Duties of the Financial Accountant will include:
- Responsibility for financial statements for a group of companies
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, in accordance with IFRS and the Swiss Code of Obligations
- Implementation of the Internal Control System (ICS), being the point of contact for the Accounting team
- Assisting with preparation for external audit
- Responsible for asset accounting; investment orders, shareholdings
The ideal candidate:
- Accountant with several years of experience in a group accounting and reporting role within an international environment
- Proficiency in IFRS and Swiss Code of Obligations
- Fluent English is required
- German language skills are advantageous
