• Drive Procurement solutions by showcasing technical understanding of the Electronics area, specifically transformers and switchgears 
• Take an engineering-driven approach to the management of Purchasing
• Showcase Procurement expertise and understanding of market factors related to materials used in machinery and energy industries
• Contribute to Procurement transformation projects and take Procurement within the business to the next level
• Bring cost savings through optimized Procurement methods - operate within the organization in a business partnering approach

• Educated to degree or equivalent level, ideally in an Engineering or Supply Chain-related discipline
• Have 8+ years\' experience in Procurement, with a focus on category management in direct materials related to the Energy sector -  knowledge of Transformers and purchasing of this type of product is critical 
• Hold technical knowledge of materials used in Electrical or machinery manufacturing and/or the Energy sector
• Have previously worked either regionally or globally in a multi-national organization
• Fluent in English and German is essential
