Job Description
We are working with a Zurich-based business as they search for a German-speaking Java Developer to join its dynamic tech team and lead the implementation of new inventory management features.This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of scalable and high-performance software solutions.
Key responsibilities of the Java Developer:
- Lead the implementation of new inventory management features across front- and back-end systems
- Drive the digital integration of client systems
- Implement robust EDI connections to the ERP platform
- Develop and deploy REST and OCI APIs for seamless customer data access
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, providing support and driving resolution of complex issues
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Circa 3+ years’ experience with Java, JavaEE, and Spring Batch
- Solid SQL knowledge; experience with Oracle and PL/SQL is a bonus
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- A communicative, analytical, and self-driven mindset, focused on practical solutions
- Fluency in English and German
