Job Description

As the Business Analyst, you will support the regulatory reporting department by seeking effective business solutions for new regulatory requirements, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and assisting in the analysis of stakeholder objectives.

Responsibilities of the Business Analyst:
  • Support the regulatory reporting department in implementing effective business solutions for new regulatory requirements
  • Play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives within the department
  • Assist in analysing stakeholder objectives and translating them into business requirements and solution directions
  • Identify potential benefits and available options, and collaborate with users to define acceptance tests for new systems or process changes
  • Investigate and document business functions, processes, information flows, and data structures using consistent techniques
  • Facilitate scoping and business priority-setting for change initiatives of medium size and complexity
  • Data analysis and identifies the impact on business requirements of interim (e.g. migration) scenarios as well as the required end position
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • Prince II foundation certification (or equivalent) preferred, SCRUM/Agile (basic knowledge) advantageous
  • Minimum 3 years\' experience as a Business Analyst in data-focused projects
  • Regulatory reporting experience in a banking environment advantageous
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, solid experience in Power BI
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, excellent communication skills, and ability to make sense of complex situations and rapidly prioritise issues
