Responsibilities of the Business Analyst:
- Support the regulatory reporting department in implementing effective business solutions for new regulatory requirements
- Play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives within the department
- Assist in analysing stakeholder objectives and translating them into business requirements and solution directions
- Identify potential benefits and available options, and collaborate with users to define acceptance tests for new systems or process changes
- Investigate and document business functions, processes, information flows, and data structures using consistent techniques
- Facilitate scoping and business priority-setting for change initiatives of medium size and complexity
- Data analysis and identifies the impact on business requirements of interim (e.g. migration) scenarios as well as the required end position
- Degree or equivalent experience
- Prince II foundation certification (or equivalent) preferred, SCRUM/Agile (basic knowledge) advantageous
- Minimum 3 years\' experience as a Business Analyst in data-focused projects
- Regulatory reporting experience in a banking environment advantageous
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, solid experience in Power BI
- Ability to work to tight deadlines, excellent communication skills, and ability to make sense of complex situations and rapidly prioritise issues
