Job Description

Our client, an international chemical business in Rotterdam, is seeking a VAT Analyst to join their growing team. 

Working in a dynamic and rapidly expanding business, this is a unique opportunity for a VAT Analyst to develop their career in Tax and increase their hard skills in Finance.

This position will suit someone who is proactive, self-driven and has good social skills, along with a strong technical mindset.

Hybrid working is available for this position.

The main duties of the VAT Analyst are:
  • Ensures all EU tax filing is submitted accurately and on time
  • Perform quarterly accounting and reconciliation of VAT amounts
  • Monitoring of VAT compliance
  • Support tax audits
  • Support the implementation of regional and global projects
The skills required for the VAT Analyst are:
  • 2+ years of experience in VAT
  • Fluent English speaking and written ability
  • Fluent German speaking and written ability
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting
  • Experience in an international company
