Your key responsibilities as the European Logistics Director:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive logistics plan for EMEA in collaboration with business and functional leaders
  • Integration & Execution: Lead cross-functional alignment and flawless execution of logistics strategies, ensuring continuous focus on customer needs and leveraging cutting-edge processes and technology
  • Operations Optimization: Align warehousing and transportation to optimize logistics operations
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with logistics activities, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
  • Performance Excellence: Establish and surpass logistics performance targets, driving corrective actions, and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives
  • Forecasting: Provide accurate forecasting of logistics capabilities and constraints for short, mid, and long-term planning
  • Team Leadership: Manage, develop, and enhance the capabilities of the regional logistics team, fostering growth, mentorship, and adherence to best practices
Qualifications:
  • Degree required preferably in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or relevant
  • Proven experience in leading and optimizing end-to-end regional supply chains
  • Proficiency in logistics network re-engineering projects, network design software, and operational excellence programs
  • Strong problem-solving and planning capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels
