My client is a mid-sized global manufacturing business with a strong market position and financial results. Due to internal development, they are looking to hire a Group Controller for the finance team at their new Basel Headquarters.
Reporting to the Head of Group Controlling, you will work closely with areas such as HR, R&D, Supply Chain and Procurement to enhance the FP&A and controlling activities for these functions.
The successful candidate will have prior experience in a group controlling role or business partnering with functions such as logistics or procurement.
As Group Controller, your responsibilities include:
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual IFRS reporting for internal and external consolidated statements
- Develop performance KPIs and conduct variance/ratio analysis for service functions (e.g., procurement, HR, R&D)
- Manage group-wide budgeting, forecasting, and mid-term planning for service functions
- Assist the Head of Group Controlling in consolidating local budgets into the group budget
- Act as a Business Partner, providing finance decision support to the global leadership team
Skills Required:
