Rebecca is an Associate Director in our Finance & Accountancy recruitment team in the Netherlands, specilaising in interim postions.

She joined EMEA Recruitment in August 2023, originally specialising in Procurement & Supply Chain recruitment in Switzerland, with over 15 years of recruitment experience across a variety of commercial disciplines. 

Rebecca has a passion for building lasting relationships, ensuring to listen to the needs of candidates and clients to find long-term solutions. Using a people-first approach, Rebecca enjoys getting to know people and what makes them tick; this allows her to identify the right fit for both the organisation and the candidate, and champion the right fit.  

Rebecca is also honest in her approach and always offers a true consultative service. She is willing to challenge expectations when necessary to realise the end goal, which is the formation of a partnership between all parties in the recruitment process.

Rebecca’s Interests

Rebecca’s main interest is spending time with her Labrador, Pearl. Pearl became Rebecca’s sidekick during lockdown and was named after the ship in the film Pirates of the Caribbean.

She is also interested in cooking and has been growing her own fruits and vegetables.

Her other interests include pub quizzing, travelling in her campervan (named Colin), and history, particularly the Tudor and Viking eras.

We’re looking for an experienced legal professional to step into a high-impact interim role with a leading real estate-focused team. If you bring a sharp legal mind, deep knowledge of Dutch compliance frameworks, and the confidence to lead, this could be a great next move.

Your role as the Interim Senior Corporate Lawyer:

Acting as the go-to expert for KYC/AML within the real estate business line, you’ll lead client onboarding, manage ongoing monitoring processes, and provide hands-on guidance to a small team. You'll also act as a first-line advisor on compliance matters, helping the business maintain high standards of governance and risk management.

What we’re looking for:
  • 4–8 years of corporate legal experience, ideally within a corporate services environment
  • Experience in a compliance-focused role 
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken)
  • Strong understanding of Dutch AML/KYC laws (Wtt, Wwft, Sanctions Law)

Our client is looking for an experienced Interim Payroll Specialist to step in and support their Payroll operations across a diverse client portfolio.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on variety, can hit the ground running, and is confident managing multiple Payroll processes independently.

Fluency in Dutch is essential, as the role involves handling questions around collective labor agreements and managing client communication.

Responsibilities of the Interim Payroll Specialist:

  • Managing payroll for a portfolio of clients all processed via Nmbrs

  • Handling various CAOs with clients mainly in metal and technology, recreation, hospitality, and professional goods transport

  • Responding to Payroll-related questions and interpreting labor agreements

  • Processing pensions, updates, and ensuring timely, accurate submissions

  • Acting as a go-to expert for Payroll questions across sectors

  • Working 2–3 days per week (flexible setup)

What you’ll need:

  • Proven experience in Dutch Payroll (interim or in-house)

  • Strong knowledge of Nmbrs is a must

  • Familiarity with multiple CAOs and the ability to interpret and apply them

  • A high level of independence – you’ll need to manage tasks and clients with minimal oversight

  • Stress-resistant, adaptable, and comfortable working at pace with frequent context-switching

  • Dutch fluency (spoken and written)
