We are currently seeking a Global Category Manager CAPEX in collaboration with our client, based in Zurich.

Operating in a manufacturing-orientated environment, the ideal candidate will have prior experience in a production-focused domain in indirect spend categories, such as CAPEX, MRO, and Facility Management.

Key responsibilities of the Global Category Manager include:

  • Cover site expenditure and capital projects responsible for delivering year-on-year cost savings
  • Develop strategic purchasing plans and supplier consolidation projects
  • Display a strong technical understanding of CAPEX and MRO procurement, having previously concluded negotiations, established supplier frameworks, and shared best practices across the relevant regional spend areas
  • Work towards achieving corporate goals through cost savings and process efficiencies
  • Manage Capital Spend Projects across 50+ factories globally
  • Create, manage, and run end-to-end projects related to driving both operational and strategic purchasing in the Capex, machinery, and spare parts spend area
