EMEA Recruitment is working with an international engineering business as they look to recruit a HR Manager for their multiple sites across the Netherlands.

The business places a strong focus on innovation and sustainability. They are looking for a HR Manager to become a trusted partner to leadership and lead and coach a HR team.

This is a great opportunity for an individual who is looking to elevate a HR function and tackle some key people challenges across their sites.

Key responsibilities of the HR Manager:

  • Set the HR strategy for the Netherlands business and ensure its effective execution
  • Lead and develop a team of 5 across HR and Recruitment
  • Ensure effective operational HR processes are in place, in line with Dutch legislation
  • Manage escalated employee relations issues
  • Develop good relationships with the works council
  • Collaborate with HR Leads across Europe on international HR projects
  • Work in partnership with leadership on talent planning, development, succession, and culture
Experience required:
  • Proven success in a HR Manager role in a multi-site environment
  • Strong people manager able to inspire a team
  • Hands-on mindset with a pragmatic and collaborative approach
  • Project and change management skills
  • Great at building stakeholder relationships
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch labor law
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
