EMEA Recruitment is delighted to exclusively support a leading global FMCG business, bringing strong opportunities for growth and development, to recruit a Commodity Market Analyst for their site in Hoofddorp.
The Commodity Market Analyst position is not your typical finance role. You will support with analysis, forecasting and forward planning on the purchase of raw materials (plastic). You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Procurement, Finance and Business Controllers, Senior Management, and Operations.
This role requires a proactive, analytical thinker with strong communication skills and a proven ability to simplify complex processes in a fast-paced company.

Role Overview:
Analyse Market Fundamentals: Assess key commodities by tracking supply and demand, stocks and regulations
Drive Commodity Price Forecasting: Provide accurate forecasts to contribute towards the annual strategic plan
Communicate Market Insights: Share clear commodity market reports with Finance, Procurement and Operational teams
Manage Key Relationships: Oversee and maintain strong partnerships with external consultants
Build Expert Networks: build relationships with industry experts to bring external insights to the team
Enhance Risk Management: Produce market insights, benchmarks, and analytics to develop and improve risk management strategies
Utilise Data Science: Apply data science to create decision-making tools that strengthen risk analytics
Requirements:
Master’s degree with experience in global commodity market analysis
Skilled in building technical analysis and forecasting models
Proficient in using technology for efficiency and continuous improvement
Excellent at networking and relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders
Strong communication skills to clearly describe complex concepts
