My client, a leading manufacturing business, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their production site in Kreuzlingen.It’s an exciting time to join the company, as it is moving through a positive growth stage with transformation taking place on a global scale.
As the Senior Accountant, you’ll play a pivotal part in the Finance team, demonstrating a collaborative and analytical mindset with strong communication skills and a strong background in Accounting.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
- Oversee all site Accounting operations and ensure process accuracy
- Prepare monthly/annual financial statements and manage reporting
- Support budgeting and financial planning
- Lead SAP FI functionality and ensure financial data integrity
- Manage cash, FX, AR/AP, VAT, and insurance matters
- Ensure compliance with tax, SOX/ICE, and legal regulations
- Handle fixed asset Accounting and internal controls
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and the Shared Service Center
- Advise management on financial issues
- Degree in Business Administration with certification in Finance/Accounting
- Minimum 6 years' experience in full-scope Accounting, in an international industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of financial statements, US GAAP, Swiss Code of Obligation, and tax law
- Proficient in SAP FI, MS Office, and Excel
- Fluent in German and English
