EMEA Recruitment has partnered with an exciting, global FMCG organization that is rapidly growing through acquisition with a heavy focus on sustainability.

The company has a varied and growing portfolio, linking them to global brands all over the world.

Based from their center of excellence, you'll create a strategic plan across Scope 3 sustainability, contributing to rapid development in their Sustainability journey.

As Senior Sustainability Manager - Logistics Decarbonization, you'll carve out a strategy focused on reducing Carbon Emissions from the entire logistics process, start to finish.

The role will require you to work closely with Logistics and Procurement functions to best understand where CO2 emissions can be reduced and where an impact can be made across the entire Supply Chain.

Areas of importance include EVs, biofuels, logistics routes, optimization of current logistics/procurement processes and sustainable equipment in the business. 

This role offers hybrid work based in Zug, Switzerland.

Responsibilities of the Senior Sustainability Manager:
  • Carve out the entire Decarbonization strategy across scope 3 emissions, heavily focused on logistics and route optimization 
  • Work closely with Logistics & Procurement teams to best plan the most Sustainable journey of raw materials from start to finish
  • Maintain strong relationships with key Senior Stakeholders within the business during the entire roll out and strategy implementation
  • Develop & track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure CO2e emissions from existing logistics routes to improve and implement new strategies in line with Sustainability targets
  • Track emissions for specific business equipment to plan & modify for future improvements across sustainability for the organization

Candidate Requirements: 
  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain logistics routes/raw material journey and has implemented or carved out sustainability practices within Scope 3 domain previously
  • Works cross-functionally between teams such as Procurement & Logistics to implement new sustainability strategies 
  • Ability to engage and influence key Senior Stakeholders within a large global business
