My client, a rapidly growing global FMCG business, seeks a Global Opex & Strategy Director across Global Footprint, Strategic Projects and Operational Capabilities.

As the Global Opex & Strategy Director, you will execute capital and strategic projects, enhance operational efficiency and build capabilities within the operations function.

You will liaise with leadership stakeholders on project progress, opportunities and the risks involved across the capital and strategic projects operations department.

This role is based in Lucerne, Switzerland.

Main Responsibilities: 
  • Responsible for leadership & strategy development of Global Project Design Standards for equipment, capital projects, manufacturing warehouses and buildings
  • Manage 7 direct reports globally across programme management, engineering and OPEX continuous improvement while creating KPI scorecards for project delivery/visibility
  • Collaborate with Global Manufacturing and operations to plan and execute capital projects
  • Work closely with senior leadership to identify and prioritize multiple global strategic projects aligned with business goals, and develop project plans, timelines, and resource requirements
  • Engage with key stakeholders and cross-functional leaders to understand their needs and requirements and incorporate feedback into operational improvement initiatives/project plans
  • Align both commercial and strategic objectives within manufacturing and operations teams
  • Lead the engineering and operational technical teams in the development and execution of capital projects, while also leading KPI development for engineering performance & projects

Candidate Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field MBA
  • 10 years of experience in operations management, process improvement, project management, or related roles - preferably in a complex organizational environment
  • Previously worked within capital projects/manufacturing across FMCG or manufacturing organisations
  • Excellent project management skills with a record of successfully leading and executing strategic projects

The role
As the Senior Supply Planning Manager - IBP, you will spearhead implementation and roll out of Integrated Business Planning strategy. This role will be crucial to improving the accuracy of financial forecasting, optimising inventory management and identifying present and future risks & opportunities. You\'ll ensure that organisational objectives are consistently met and achieved.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic leadership, overseeing and driving the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Integrated Business Planning process across the organisation.
  • Stakeholder alignment at all levels of the organisation to develop and execute the Integrated Business Planning process, acting as a liaison between different functional areas.
  • Management of inventory levels throughout the supply chain, ensuring availability in the market, plus overall change management and budgetary alignment.

Personal Qualifications & Experience:
  • You\'ll be proficient in advanced planning tools, ERP systems and data analytics platforms.

This position will also strategically plan and manage capital investments to meet the global capital growth plan initiatives.

The Operational Excellence & Capital Planning Director will have previous experience in capital projects and financial planning environments to assist the Global Capital Projects team in working closely with the CFO, CEO and Finance.

The role:

As the Sustainability Data Analyst, you will be the go-to contact for any queries regarding Sustainability & Regulatory data from the portfolio of suppliers.

By analysing the data you will identify trends, errors and gaps within the supplier\'s reports/templates to establish key areas of improvement for the sustainability team.

Your responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the organisation\'s overall ESG & Sustainability strategy by gaining valuable data insights throughout the organisation’s portfolio
  • The main point of contact for any queries or questions about the suppliers\' ESG & Sustainability reporting templates as they are being introduced.  
  • Accountable for monitoring Sustainability data through the organisation’s ingredients and packaging suppliers

The required skills & competencies to succeed in this role include:
  • Design, develop and deploy Supply Planning standards, processes, policies, and tools in line with industry best practices
  • Implement Kinaxis Rapid Response across the Group in line with the OnePlan programme implementation timeline
  • Lead the functional selection process and later implement the future chosen Detailed Scheduling tool
