Core responsibilities:

• Annual reporting automation: Modernize and automate the annual reporting workflow, ensuring that disclosure notes are accurate and compliant.
• 5-year corporate forecasting: Drive the vision of their financial trajectory by leading the creation and updating of their 5-year corporate forecast.
• Financial statement creation: Design and present comprehensive financial statements for both internal stakeholders and external entities.

Skillset required:

• A solid foundation in Accounting - ideally either CIMA or CPA qualified
• Extensive experience in planning and reporting tools - proficiency in Workday Adaptive Planning is a significant plus
• An ability for transforming traditional financial processes into streamlined, automated systems
• Exceptional communication skills to interpret and present financial insights to a diverse audience
• A proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate business needs and act on them

• Manage or act as a team member on a range of global finance, operational and other audits, from pre-planning to post-audit review
• Analyse audit findings and provide recommendations
• Preparation of audit reports
• Presentation of audit results to management
• Evaluation of risks and internal controls
• Assist with compliance topics

• CIA or equivalent qualification would be strongly preferred
• Good knowledge of SAP, particularly the FI/CO module

• Willingness to travel up to 40% - this is likely to reduce over time, as the business\' data analytics capabilities develop

As an Accounting Manager, your role will include:

• Lead and Inspire: Manage and motivate a diverse team of 3-5 junior and senior accountants, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
• Operational Excellence: Oversee the daily accounting operations, ensuring meticulous execution of tasks, and spearhead the monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing and reporting processes with precision
• Strategic Influence: Act as a change agent within the organization, leading process improvements, implementing global best practices, and working closely with the business and key stakeholders to support informed decision-making and financial planning
• Communication and Compliance: Regularly produce and present comprehensive financial reports and statements, liaise with external advisers and auditors, and manage tax and compliance across various jurisdictions, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our financial information

About You:

• Educated and Experienced: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced Accounting degree (ACCA, CPA, Swiss WP, or equivalent) is advantageous. 5+ years of relevant experience in Accounting and/or Audit, demonstrating a track record of financial management and team leadership
• A Leader and a Team Player: With proven managerial skills, you\'re capable of leading a team towards achieving excellence in all aspects of accounting and financial reporting, inspiring your team members to grow and excel
• Innovative and Proactive: You have a keen eye for identifying process improvement opportunities and the initiative to implement solutions that enhance efficiency and accuracy across financial operations

• Timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closings and consolidations under US GAAP
• Preparing the Group’s financial statements for both internal and external purposes, including detailed financial reports
• Manage and support external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Guide local entities and maintain financial reporting and information systems
• Collaborate closely with headquarters accounting

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional Accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred
• Proven experience in financial consolidation and reporting within a multinational corporation or professional accounting firm
• US GAAP technical accounting knowledge would be strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of management and staff within the organization
• Fluency in English, German would be desirable
• Proficient in the use of financial software (SAP would be desirable) and advanced skills in Excel and other Office applications
