Job Description

We are supporting a client in Zurich with an urgent requirement for an experienced Procurement Manager to support Real Estate and Construction sourcing activities on behalf of major financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities of the Interim Procurement Manager:

  • Lead sourcing initiatives related to planning, architecture, and project management services
  • Manage procurement for new builds and office space developments – not facilities management or leasing
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define procurement strategies aligned with construction project lifecycles
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to define and execute service contracts
  • Support compliance with SIA (Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects) contract frameworks

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience in Procurement for construction or real estate development projects
  • Sound knowledge of Swiss construction processes and SIA contracts
  • Fluent in German, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Background in architecture, quantity surveying, or engineering highly beneficial
  • Ideally, experience working with financial sector clients on construction projects
