Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in collaboration with our client, a fast moving consumer goods business with offices in Zurich.

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing administrative and operational activity within the Traffic Coordination of the business activity.

Key Responsibilities of the Logistics Coordinator:

  • Coordinate and oversee deliveries, specifically via Ocean Freight, liaising with freight forwarders and shipping companies
  • Invoice management and issuance of documentation related to physical purchases and sales of raw materials and commodities used in the Food industry
  • Collaborate with suppliers and transport companies to ensure timely performance and delivery of shipments
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Logistics and Supply Chain

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience in Supply Chain, Freight Forwarding, Export/Import or Logistics
  • Strong understanding of Logistics, shipments and related administrative tasks
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Fluency in English, any other language is beneficial
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
