Senior Consultant - Hanna Gibson

Hanna is a Senior Consultant in our finance and accounting recruitment team in the Nordics. She specialises in sourcing top talent across our specialist disciplines for our international clients to place in finance jobs in Sweden and other Nordic countries. She joined EMEA Recruitment in August 2023.

With previous recruitment experience and a degree in Business Management & Entrepreneurship, as well as a master’s in Management & Business Analytics, Hanna has a good understanding of multiple industries, growth strategies and business operations.

Approaching recruitment with a creative and logical perspective, Hanna is skilled in problem-solving and capturing realistic expectations.

Having lived in seven countries and spent her summers in Sweden, Hanna understands many different cultures, which helps her relate to people. She upholds professionalism and puts people first by developing an in-depth understanding of their objectives so that she can provide service excellence and develop strong relationships, and - in time - friendships.

Hanna’s Interests

Hanna enjoys travelling to new places (particularly off the beaten track), playing tennis and badminton, real estate, and reading books.

She is also a film fanatic and has an interest in analysing films, especially trying to understand the story below the surface, the director’s angle and the frame of certain shots.

EMEA Recruitment is working with a well-established industrial company searching for a Regional Internal Auditor to join the Stockholm office.

The successful candidate will be accountable for overseeing the administration, coordination, planning, and follow-up of internal audits within the designated region.

This role entails actively contributing to the enhancement and maintenance of the internal audit process, leading audits as per the approved plan, managing projects to bolster the Internal Audit function, and facilitating the development and implementation of digitalized audit processes, including data analytics and integrated systems.

Key responsibilities of the Regional Internal Auditor:
  • Manage the administration, coordination, planning, and follow-up of internal audits within the region to ensure high-quality assurance of audit activities
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the internal audit process, focusing on optimizing effectiveness and efficiency
  • Lead and conduct audits in alignment with the approved internal audit plan, ensuring thorough assessment of risks and internal controls
  • Manage projects aimed at enhancing the Internal Audit function, driving initiatives to improve processes and methodologies

Your profile:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in auditing, internal control, or related areas
  • Proficient in MS Excel, with experience in SAP, Power BI, and Data Analytics preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Swedish is an advantage

The successful candidate will be responsible for offering consulting activities aimed at improving the business operations and supporting management to improve the governance, internal control and risk management framework.

  • Lead thorough assurance audits to evaluate the efficiency of current controls and processes

Your profile:
