Accounting & Consolidation Specialist - Exclusive New

Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is working exclusively with a leading manufacturer based in Basel, which is seeking an Accounting & Consolidation Specialist.

As the Accounting & Consolidation Specialist, you'll posses a can-do attitude, be able to adapt and perform in a changing environment, and show a willingness to learn from other senior members of the wider Finance team.

Key responsibilities:

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation processes
• Post top-side journal entries and validate figures
• Prepare financial statements for internal and external reporting
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal financial reporting controls
• Provide IFRS Accounting guidance to local entities
• Maintain and support financial reporting and IT systems (SAP)
• Assist with external audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Lead and contribute to various ad-hoc Finance projects
• Support the VP Finance in preparing the Sustainability Report

Your profile:

• Accounting/Finance degree 
• Solid experience in financial consolidation
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS
• A proactive, open-minded, and goal-oriented mindset
• Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Fluency in English
